Features / Websites & PHP
Fast sites, PHP per account.
OpenLiteSpeed serves every site, and each hosting account gets its own PHP master with its own CPU, memory and process limits. One account’s PHP no longer shares a single pool budget with every other account (the database server and disk are still shared).
Domains & sites
Addon, sub and parked domains, each with its own folder and settings.
- Addon domains and subdomains with their own docroot and vhost
- Parked domains that alias an existing site
- Preview URLs: unguessable links to check a site before DNS moves
- Redirects: 301 or 302, whole site or one path, loop-guarded
- Rewrite rules with .htaccess import and automatic restore if the site stops answering
- Maintenance mode holding pages per domain
- Domain expiry tracking with alert bands
- Branded landing page for domains with no site yet
PHP
Choose the version per account and tune it per domain.
- PHP 8.3, 8.4 or 8.5 per account
- One PHP master per account, started on demand and stopped when idle
- Per-account limits on CPU, memory and processes
- php.ini editor and OPcache toggle per domain
- PHP error log per domain
- Extension catalog: imagick, redis, memcached, soap, mongodb and more, on every version at once
- PHP usage per account (memory, CPU, limit hits) on the dashboard
Files & FTP
A full file manager in the browser, plus FTPS for desktop clients.
- File manager with search, copy/paste, permissions and a 30-day trash
- Drag-and-drop uploads, large files sent in parts
- Code editor with syntax highlighting, find/replace and go to line
- Visual mode for editing plain HTML pages
- Extract and pack zip and tar archives as the account user
- FTPS-only chrooted logins, plaintext refused, extra logins per user
Databases, cron & apps
MariaDB, scheduled tasks and long-running app processes.
- Database wizard: database, user and grants in one click
- phpMyAdmin with an optional gate password
- Per-user database caps on connections and queries
- Cron jobs in plain English, with run history and output
- Dead-man monitoring: mail when a job is overdue, and when it recovers
- App daemons for Laravel queues, Symfony Messenger or Python bots, auto-restarted with crash-loop guard
